Kommer till Aten! Lady Gaga... Coming to Athens!

Den 19 september kommer Lady Gaga till Aten! Lady Gagas 4:e turnering "ArtRave: The Artpop Ball" har premiär idag i USA (Fort Lauderdale). 70 shower är planerade, den sista i Portugal den 10 November.

Till Sverige (Stockholm - Globen) kommer hon den 30 september, men själv är jag mest intresserad av uppträdandet här på OAKA (Atens Olympiastadion)den 19 september...:)

Ja, jag skulle faktiskt vilja gå själv och se showen med denna excentriska sångerska och låtskrivare (skivproducent, modedesigner, skådespelerska, affärskvinna...)!

Biljetter till konserten i Aten kan man köpa på Germanos eller on-line på lavris.gr och biljettpriserna varierar mellan 38,50 och 115,50 €.  
OBS! På en annan site som kommer upp före lavris.gr när man googlar på biljetter till showen här i Aten varierar biljettpriserna mellan 74 och 209 €!!!

Lady Gaga is coming to Athens at September 19th! Lady Gaga's fourth tour "ArtRave: The Artpop Ball" has its premiere today in the US (Fort Lauderdale). 70 shows are planned, the last one the 10th of November in Portugal.

The Athens concert will be held at OAKA - the Olympic stadium of Athens September 19th and I really would like to go to see this excentric singer & songwriter (record producer, fashion designer, actress, business woman...)!

Tickets for the concert here in Athens can be bought at the shops "Germanos" in Greece or on-line at lavris.gr and the prices are between 38,50 and 115,50 €.  
NOTE!On another site which comes up before lavris.gr, when you're searching on Google, the prices are 74-209 €!!!

Paris Hilton in Greece!

Paris Hilton is now in Greece. Her beautiful yacht has been seen at Fiskardo and at Sami on the  island of Kefallonia (Cephalonia).

Paris Hilton has been in relationships with 2 Greeks; first Stavros Niarchos (grandson of "The Golden Greek") and then the producer Paris Kasidokostas-Latsis (grandson of another shipping tycoon, Yiannis Latsis). These relationships ended, but she still loves Greece!

This picture is from the beginning of August when she was seen sunbathing with this unknown fellow on Corsica, France (maybe he is travelling together with Paris on her yacht?):

This young woman is most often described like the silly blond, rich inheritor of Conrad Hilton, but  can you call anyone making so much money every year stupid? She seems to be working really hard actually.

Paris Hilton started her career as a model and has been working with Ford Models, Donald Trumps, Models 1 Agency and more.

She has been in a few films and the main person in the reality serial "The Simply life".  Fashiondesigner and business woman are other titles she has. There are 55 Paris Hilton stores worldwide!

The music production company Heiress Records is founded by Paris Hilton and 2006 her first  record called "Paris" was released and her 2nd album is on its way. She has published 2 books: "Confessions of an Heiress" and "Your Heiress Diary".

Bradgelina, De Niro and Travolta on vacation in Greece!

Once again Greece has some very famous "Hollywood" celebrities here on vacation. The beautiful couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt seem to select Greece for a part of their vacation every year lately - Thanks for that!

Director, producer and fantastic actor Robert De Niro (Taxi Driver, God father II, Deer Hunter...) is here as well as John Travolta (actor, dancer, singer...).

A few days ago their yachts were in Halkidiki and it's believed they're heading for Santorini, where Angelina and Brad have a house. Earlier they have been to Pylos and Myconos.

Jennifer Lopez has the solution to Greece's crisis!

"If I was the prime minister of Greece I would make all possible investments and efforts in tourism! Greece is the most beautiful country and that's enough to overcome any crises!" This is what Jennifer Lopez said at a press conference in Pasadena (because of "American Idol" where she is in the jury) now the 25th of January. Lopez is a very clever and successful businesswoman - I would tip she is absolutely right!

Jennifer was here in Athens a couple of days in September 2008 and was then working a lot. One night she had a concert at O.A.K.A, Athens Olympic Sports Center. She also had a photo shooting for a Greek magazine at Acropolis with the Greek photographer Spiros Poros.

"The photographing at Parthenon was the most incredible experience! I am soon coming to Greece again, this time for vacation!", J.Lo told the Greek journalist Georgos Satsidis.



Jennifer has many boutiques, "JLO by Jennifer Lopez", in Greece (Rhodes, Chania and Heraklion at Crete, Kavala, Thessaloniki, Chalandri and here in Glyfada). The boutique in Glyfada opened in May 2008, so of course it was a lot of PR for it when she was here.

I really like Jennifer Jlo! She seems to be really nice I think. Really good actor also, don't you think?

Last thursday they were having a good time at the nightclub Posidonio in Elliniko where our neighbour from Ano Glyfada, Panos Kiamos, was performing. And of course Kutcher had gotten the information about this from my blog...! (Christmas and New Years Eve in Athens 2011-2012) From where else...? :)

The two sweet twin sisters from California, actors since the cradle, are designing clothes as well. Their brand is called "The Row". This summer (2011) the Greek jewellery designer Ileána Makrí invited them to her summerplace at the Greek island Patmos, as she wanted to start selling Mary-Kate & Ashleys' clothes in her fine boutique,   "Μαγεία"(=Magic), in Kolonáki (Charitos 18) here in Athens.

Mary-Kate and Ashley said yes and spent their vacation in Greece, as so many other celebrities!

Later on Ileána Makrí was contacted  by the successful sisters in turn, who wondered if Ileána wanted to design the jewellery for their new 2012-collection, which she also did. The beautiful jewellery, with a Greek touch, made by Ileána Makrí has gotten a lot of attention. Here a few of her artworks from the collection:

The worldfamous Italian clothesdesigners Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana are in Elounda (Crete) on vacation. The welldressed
gentlemen are often visiting the Greek islands on their vacation to really enjoy their holidays! During their stay in Elounda they also have shown interest for the small island Spinalonga with its interesting history.

The British supermodel Kate Moss got married the 1st of July with the rock guitarist Jamie Hince (The Kills) and where do you think they spent their honeymoon?...
In the Greek archipelago of course! Why do all celebrities choose Greece for their vacation? Yea, because it's so lovely here! One of the chick beaks is Kates' daughter, Lila Grace (borned 2002)!

Here they are at the yacht "Lionchase" belonging to their friend Sir Philip Green, who owes the business chain Bhs, where I among other things have purchased my Buddha-figure. (They have very nice things there.)

Kate and Jamie were mostly staying close to the island Kefalonia and according to the sayings Kate has asked a real estate office to look out for a summer paradise on the island! Welcome Kate, sweetie, and Good luck keeping yourself drug free - life is best just like it is!

Prince Albert & Princess Charlene of Monaco in Greece!

The recently married couple, prince Albert of Monaco and his princess, the Southafrican Charlene Wittstock are spending part of their honeymoon at the Greek islands! They have been visiting Antiparos and were then staying at Tom Hanks' and Rita Wilson's summerhouse there.

The beautiful princess Charlene has been an elite swimmer and took
part in the Olympic games in Sydney 2000.

The beautiful English-Jamaican supermodel Naomi Campbell is now visiting the Greek islands together with her boyfriend since 2008, the
Russian businessman Vladimir Doronin. They have been visiting Kos and Symi and are said to be heading for Rhodes now.

Here they are the 17th of May this year at the festival in Cannes.

They have of course been visiting a couple of restaurants at the islands and are said to be giving tip exceeding the bill!

Costa Navarino - high class golf in Greece

At Peloponnese there is a new golf course of world class. The park is called "Costa Navarino" and means a lot for Messinia in the southwest of Peloponnese.

Nearby is the town Pylos, historically known under the name "Navarino". Pylos was the home town of Nestor  (Homeros).



The shipowner Vassilis Constantakopoulos, who recently passed away (January 2011), built this fantastic and environmentally friendly park/construction. During 25 years he was buying piece by piece of the land, which is close to his home village. Great consideration has been taken to the nature.

There are two luxury hotels, "Navarino Dunes". At the park/construction there is also a lot of fun for children like for example minitennis, treasure hunting, golfschool and more.

Oh yes, the talented and charming American actress Julia Roberts is now here in Greece together with her husband, Daniel Moder, and their three wonderful children! Julia has been visiting Greece many times, and seems to prefer the lovely island of Patmos.

The comedy-drama movie "Larry Crowne" where Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks are having the leading roles has just been released in the USA and in Canada. Tom Hanks, who is also a real Greece-lover with their own house at the island Antiparos,  has also written, directed and produced this movie. Trailer Larry Crowne

Very soon a new movie, "Mirror, mirror", with Julia Roberts, Lily Collins and Amie Hammer will be released. It's a Comedy-Fantasy film based on the wellknown Snow White! Here's the official trailer:


At Hollyscoop I read that Julia is lefthanded, the actress Emma Roberts is her niece and more. For sure she is my favourite actress!

Like to know more about Daniel Moder, Julias husband? Well, actually I don't know him so well...but he seems like a nice guy! I mean, Julia is nice, so he must be nice...!

Princess Lala Salma at Corfu

The beautiful redhaired princess of Morocco Lala Salma is now at Corfu together with her son and successor to the throne. Yes, it is a little bit
strange that she is not the Queen of Morocco as she is married with the King, Mohammed VI. Lala Salma is actually the first wife of a Moroccian King that has been publicly recognized.

The Princess and the son of the King arrived on Saturday to the airport "Giannis Kapodistrias" together with 15 security guards!

Princess Lala is often visiting Greece and this is the 2nd time she chooses Corfu like resort. This time they will stay for 3 weeks and just enjoy sunbathing, shopping and the Greek food!

Sarah Jessica Parker in Greece!

The popular Sarah Jessica Parker, her husband Matthew Broderick and their 3 children are spending their holidays in the Greek archipelago on their yacht. Sarah has been seen buying fruits, vegetables and more at Corfu, the island I wrote about yesterday!

Matthew Broderick has been acting in loads of movies as well.

Two year old picture of this beautiful family! Their son is 8 years old now and the twin-girls, borned by a surrogate mother,  have just had their 2nd birthday.
