Princess Fatima "ate pudding" in Greece...

The emir of Quatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, has bought 6 islands in Greece! He has 24 children and is planning to buy a Greek island for each one of them...

Last summer one of the emirs daughters, Fatima, fell in love with (or so I've heard)a Greek God (:)) - Giannis Kechagias, a model and singer.

Fatima invited him to their palace in Quatar, but Giannis didn't go! Fatima έφαγε χυλόπιτα (Fatima ate pudding)...! (This is a Greek expression used when love is not reciprocated...)

Anyway...Fatima is a beautiful young lady and of course Giannis appreciated her, but his main concern was (or, again, so I've heard)that he doesn't want to leave Greece!

But who knows what will happen now when Fatima soon has her own Greek island...?!

Two Greek actresses in the new James Bond movie!

Swedish: Två grekinnor i nya Bondfilmen!

The young Greek actress Tonia Sotiropoulou will play a role like the mistress of Agent 007 in the coming James Bond movie, "Skyfall", which will be released October 26th in the UK and November 1st here in Greece. (For more release dates: IMDb)

The three scenes of Tonia has been recorded together with Daniel Craig and the rest of the cast in Turkey.

Tonia Sotiropoulou has been playing in quite a few Greek films and TV-serials. She moved to London a couple of years ago to continue her drama studies.

She is very happy for this small role even if she casted for the main female role.

Except for Tonia Sotiropoulou there is also a second Greek actress, Lena Kaloutsaki (Λένα Καλουτσάκη) in the new James Bond movie, playing a smaller role like a tourist. Lena says that Daniel Craig was icecold private (!) as well and had 3 stunts for his role.

Finally Greek women in a James Bond movie! Great fun!

Greek Eleana Frangedis Miss Teen America 2012!

At the beauty contest Miss Teen America this year in Dickson, Tennessee, the 17-year old Eleana Frangedis of Greek origin, won the title!

Elena is living in Clearwater, Florida, where she also grew up.

Young Miss Frangedis will travel around the States helping teens cope with peer pressure and bullying.

She will also be working with Soles4Souls "and  many other outstanding organizations that will have a positive impact on America!", Eleana writes on her new Miss Teen America facebook page.

A few days ago Miss Teen was invited to the annual gala awards given to Greek-American students and there she said how proud she is of her origin and she expressed optimism for Greece's exit from the crisis. Let's hope she is right!

The Sexy, Greek Model Ria Antoniou (Ρία Αντωνίου) at 3rd place in the Italian "Dancing with the Stars"!

The beautiful Greek model Ria Antoniou has been dancing in the 8th edition of the TV-show "Dancing with the Stars" - "Ballando con le Stelle" in Italy from the beginning of January 2012. The Italians has lost their heads...

Miss Antoniou has taken part in a few beauty contests and always been in the top. She hasn't won though. 2008 she was the 2nd runner up in "Star Hellas", the most famous beauty contest here in Greece. Ria represented Greece in "Miss Earth" 2008 in Angeles City in the Philippines.

La Miss Greca, like they call her in Italy, has been dancing together with Raimondo Todaro in the popular TV-show. Raimondo has actually won three different editions of the show! The judges didn't always appreciate the performances of Ria, but she won the hearts of the Italian people!

Ria and Raimondo came all the way to the final where they ended up on 3rd place. Congratulations, well done!

Ria has become vey, very popular in Italy, so she will most probably continue her career in the Italian television. I guess she is taking lessons in the Italian language at the moment!

Mr Todaro is a very good dance teacher and he has his own danceschool together with his brother. Raimondo has been doing some acting, and his dream is to to have the main role in a movie like a dancer, what else...! (Read more about Raimondo Todaro at Madata.gr, in Greek though.)

Dorothea Merkouri shows Amy Winehouse Collection by Gaultier

The beautiful Greek model, Dorothea Mercouri, was one of the mannequins at the fashion show of Jean Paul Gaultier. His spring- and summer collection 2012 was presented in Paris this wednesday, January 25th.

The collection of Gaultier is inspired of the English songwriter/singer Amy Winehouse. It's a tribute to Winehouse who died of alcohol poisoning this summer, only 27 years old.
