Ganska många borgmästare blev valda redan vid valets första omgång, 108 st (av 325) firar nu sin seger. Av dessa var det 4 som var ensamma kandidater (!) och 36 av kommunerna hade bara två borgmästarkandidater.

Av de nya borgmästarna finns den tuffe och rolige f.d kändismanagern (bl.a till superpopuläre Sakis Rouvas som ni kanske kommer ihåg från Eurovision 2004, "Shake it" -3:a! - och 2009, "This is our night" - 7:e plats) Ilias Psinakis som fick 53,55 % av rösterna i kommunen Marathon samt skådespelaren och producenten Apostolos Gletsos som fick hela 67,73 % av rösterna i Stylida.
Av de 13 regionerna är det bara en som redan utsett sin περιφερειάρχης ("periferiárchis" - prefekt, motsv. landshövding i Sverige); Alexandros Kachrimanis i regionen Epirus ( 50,85 % av rösterna).
Quite many mayors were chosen already at the first part of the elections, 108 (of 325)are celebrating their victory.
From the new mayors excels the cool & funny former celebrity manager (among others to the Greek superstar Sakis Rouvas, who maybe you remember from the Eurovision Song Contest 2004: "Shake it" - 3rd place - and 2009: "This is our night" - 7th place) Ilias Psinakis who got 53,55 % of the votes in Marathon and the actor/producer Apostolos Gletsos who scored 67,73 % of the votes in Stylida.

Here I also would like to congratulate the new mayor of Hersonissos on Crete, Giannis Mastorakis - a friend and relative! Congratulations & Celebrations, Gianni!
From the 13 regions one has selected their περιφερειάρχης ("periferiárchis" - prefect/county governor); Alexandros Kachrimanis in the region Epirus ( 50,85 % of the votes).
