Fig-tree

Read in Swedish: Fikonträd





Ficus carica. Συκιά (Sikiá) in Greek. The fruit is called síka. I had never seen fresh figs before I came to Greece. Here I've never seen dried ones! Fig-trees are quite common here actually. It makes three generations of figs every year.

Greek figs are the best. I haven't found figs that are as sweet as those I used to eat in Greece!

Also, best wishes for selling your home. This is a very difficult time for selling real estate in Greece.
