The very famous footballplayer Samuel Eto'o from Cameroon has just left Greece after having a romantic vacation in Elounda, Crete, together with his wife, Georgette. The ones who met him says he was very pleasant and not snobby at all.

Here he is together with Ronaldino and Messi when he was playing for FC Barcelona. Eto'o is the second best scorer in the history of Barcelona with 105 goals in 145 matches. Eto'o has also been playing for Real Madrid and now for Inter.

:) (This seems to mean "I live in Europe, sleeping in Africa. Beckham is more handsome, but I'm better". Unfortunately I don't know Spanish. Anybody?)

First of all, Congratulations to Samuel on his birthday - 31 years old today!
Since the summer 2011 Samuel is playing for the Russian team FC Anzhi Makhachkala. I read at espn soccernet that he has a three year contract with this club worth 28,8 million dollars per season...! With this contract Samuel Eto'o is now the highest paid football player in the world! Well done, Samuel! (Help the children in Africa as much as you can, but don't forget to buy a villa for you and your family in Greece!)
