At the cape of Glyfada/Voula

Read in Swedish: En promenad på udden i Glyfada

A cold day a couple of weeks ago I took a walk with a dear friend of mine at this wonderful cape. The houses you see here belongs to Voula and Panorama Voulas.

My friend Filio. Luckily we were dressed well - it was just above zero.

The white spot up on the mountain is the tiny church dedicated to the prophet Elias, which we visited this christmas.

Here we are at the tip of the cape. Behind the boat far out is the island of Egina. The cape is called Cape Aixone (Aixoni,Exoni, Aexoni) after the ancient town Aixone which was situated here.

Glyfada

It was such a nice walk with so many beautiful views!

what a gorgeous walk! And to do it in such cold weather. I would love to put on a warm coat and walk in temperatures like that

Yes, Irina, it was really cold that day. Actually now it's quite cold as well, only +7°...!
I'm glad you have nice memories from Egina. I've been there twice and I also like the island very much.
Have a nice week!
