Yesterday we were at a quite nice beach at a bay in Agia Marina, "Παραλία της Λομπάρδας" (The beach of Lombárdas), 33 km south of Athens. There were no signs with the name of the beach, but some signs of the club situated there - "Mojito bay".
Quite a lot of people of course, especially this year with so many unemployed! It was rather shallow and nice sandy bottom. The club there,"Mojito Bay" , is renting sunbeds and more and there you can also buy something to eat or drink. (They have Live music some nights.)
You can play Beach-volley there if you like. The weekend 6-7th of August the last phase of the Greek Championship in the sport beach handball will be held there: "Final-four Beach Handball Mojito Bay 2011".
A man walked around selling doughnuts (donuts) and of course we became customers! High calorie value and yummy, yummy...
