Orange art of fallen fruit at the sidewalk
Fallen fruit can be beautiful, even if it's sad to see the fruit waisted. Maybe it's something like bitter orange. Anyway,I will take one to taste next time I walk by!
This remind me when I was kid went to neighbour garden to steal the oranges and eat before it fall to the ground :) I know is bad!! but what to say I just a kid and like to eat the fruit haha...
Minnie, who hasn't done this as a kid?! My grandparents had 7 appletrees, so we could eat as many apples we wanted, but it was so much more fun to sneak into someones garden together with friends and take some...! I remember once when the owner came out and was screaming...I got so scared I made pee in my pants! Fun memories!
If these are the trees like those in Athens streets, they are neranzi, a bitter orange. I also think they are similar to Seville oranges and make wonderful marmalade. L. Moore
